Die weltweit bekannte, seit Jahrzehnten bewährte Septuaginta-Ausgabe von Alfred Rahlfs erscheint jetzt in einer neuen, verbesserten und aktualisierten Ausgabe. Seit ihrem Erscheinen im Jahr 1935 ist die Septuaginta-Ausgabe von Alfred Rahlfs eine wichtige Grundlage der weltweiten Septuaginta-Forschung. Damit dies auch in Zukunft so bleibt, hat jetzt der international renommierte Septuaginta-Forscher Robert Hanhart die von der Deutschen Bibelgesellschaft besorgte Handausgabe der Rahlfs-Septuaginta neu durchgesehen. Dabei wurden der griechische Bibeltext und der kritische Apparat an weit über tausend Einzelstellen korrigiert und ergänzt. Die so entstandene "Editio altera" ist ab sofort die neue maßgebliche und dazu noch preiswerte Septuaginta-Handausgabe.
